Ovverosia, detto in parole molto più semplici, un uomo o una donna, perfettamente in salute, potrebbero, in via del tutto teorica, sviluppare un qualche tipo di tumore a causa del consumo di OGM solamente nel caso in cui, per oltre 40 anni, mangino esclusivamente alimenti derivanti da organismi geneticamente modificati.
