Questa notizia sarà sicuramente una fonte di polemiche: l’ecstasy non provoca conseguenze a livello cognitivo in chi ne fa uso.
Questo studio effettuato da alcuni ricercatori americani e pubblicato sulla rivista Addiction dimostrerebbe che la droga sintetica non provocherebbe dei danni permanenti alle facoltà mentali e cognitive nelle persone che l’assumono.
A questa conclusione si è arrivati perchè si sono analizzati i soggetti che consumavano solo questo tipo di droga, non associandola così a cocaina, fumo, alcol o crack per esempio che potevano sfalsare i risultati.



I volontari che sono stati presi in esame sono stati sottoposti preventivamente ad una disintossicazione, in modo da poter sfatare i dubbi sugli esiti ottenuti.
Il consumo dell’ecstasy è assolutamente pericolosissimo, com’è ovvio, perchè queste pillole che vengono sintetizzate illegalmente, contengono una quantità elevata di sostanze nocive per l’organismo e non vengono sottoposte a nessun tipo di test medico e non vengono rese note le controindicazioni.
E’ stato dimostrato che non danno problemi a livelli mentale e cognitivo ma sono assolutamente pericolose per la salute tanto da provocare la morte anche se assunte solo una volta e la cronaca nera ne è piena di esempi.
E’ quindi molto importante sapere che l’assunzione di una sola pillola può provocare la dipendenza e la morte a causa di complicazioni dell’apparato cardiocircolatorio.
