Bastano solo sette minuti al giorno di ginnastica per poter prendere due piccioni con una fava, vale a dire dimagrire e regalare al corpo nuova tonicità.
Una chimera? Niente affatto.
È quando sostiene e assicura un nuovo studio condotto dai ricercatori della Human Performance Institute di Orlando e pubblicato sull’American College of Sports Medicine’s Health & Fitness Journal. In pratica i ricercatori hanno messo a punto 12 semplici esercizi, che non sono come tutti gli altri.
Per eseguire questi particolare i preziosi esercizi è necessario avere a disposizione una semplice sedia e sfruttare il peso del proprio corpo senza l’aiuto di altri attrezzi a disposizione.
Ma è mai possibile che soli sette minuti di esercizio possano essere realmente efficaci? Secondo i ricercatori sì, visto che gli esercizi proposti si basano su un circuit-training intenso che vanno ad equiparare allenamenti molto più duri e prolungati nel tempo, come la corsa.
Attenzione però perché per avere i risultati promessi è necessario eseguire esattamente gli esercizi così come vengono indicati dai ricercatori: i 12 esercizi fanno eseguiti con un intervallo di dieci secondi l’uno dall’altro. Per avere il massimo risultato, gli esercizi andrebbero poi eseguiti in successione per circa 30 secondi ciascuno e alla massima velocità possibile.
Quali sono gli esercizi in questione?

Si comincia con i salti a gambe divaricate (jumping jack), cui segue il mantenimento della schiena puntata al muro con le gambe piegate, e ancora flessioni sul corpo, addominali a terra, salire su e giù da una sedia, poi usare la stessa sedia per rafforzare i tricipiti puntandovi le mani. Ancora squat sulle gambe, corsa sul posto alzando le ginocchia, affondi in avanti, flessioni su un braccio solo a pancia sotto e flessioni di fianco.
Insomma alcuni degli esercizi appaiono alquanti semplici, altri sono decisamente più impegnativi, ma secondo i ricercatori è necessario allenarsi fino a svolgere agevolmente la sequenza completa (che dovrà durare sette minuti): a quel punto tutta la sequenza può essere ripetuta fino a tre volte al giorno per un massimo di 20 minuti.

Attenzione perché il segreto del miracoloso allenamento consiste nel fatto che deve essere faticoso: insomma non certo una passeggiata di salute, ma un programma intenso ed efficace, particolarmente adatto per chi non ha molto tempo a disposizione, per chi è pigro, per chi non vuole utilizzare attrezzi e in generale per chi vuole ottenere il massimo risultato con il minimo impegno.
I ricercatori assicurano che numerosi studi hanno provato l’efficacia del circuit training intenso sulla salute e sul rimodellamento del fisico. Sarà vero? Provare per credere.
