Ecco alcuni consigli per evitare la micosi delle unghie, problema non tanto doloroso quanto noioso che colpisce quando, in presenza di determinate condizioni, il fungo colpisce l’unghia rendendola ingiallita e spessa. Alcuni accorgimenti possono però rivelarsi utili per trattare questo disturbo con successo.
Intanto, tenere le unghie corte, asciutte e pulite, con forma quadrata e limate nelle zone ispessite, è un buon modo per ridurre al minimo il rischio di essere colpiti da micosi delle unghie. Inoltre, mai tagliare o strappare la pelle intorno alle unghie: così facendo i germi riescono a penetrare nella pelle e sotto le unghie e la micosi fa capolino. Ancora, tra i consigli per evitare questo disturbo, ce ne è un altro piuttosto importante: mai camminare a piedi scalzi nei luoghi pubblici, specialmente in piscina. Usare sempre tappetini o asciugamani personali puliti, e ciabatte e, per lavarsi, perché solo così ci si può proteggere dalla micosi. Se si è già stati colpiti, cercare di non usare smalto né unghie finte poiché aggravano l’infezione, in quanto aumentano l’umidità e non fanno respirare l’unghia.
I funghi proliferano negli ambienti umidi, ecco perché lasciare il piede libero di respirare è uno dei consigli da mettere in pratica per evitare la micosi delle unghie. Indossare calze adatte che non facciano sudare, cambiare i calzini spesso specie in estate quando si suda di più sono tutti piccoli trucchi da seguire.
