Le feste fra Natale e l’Epifania sono fra le più lunghe dell’anno: nel corso dei quindici giorni che intercorrono fra la Vigilia di Natale e la Befana è facile cadere vittime di tentazioni culinarie e golosità di ogni genere.
Si moltiplicano le occasioni di convivialità e aumentano anche le occasioni di gustare specialità dolci e salate e naturalmente di mangiare un po’ più del previsto. Con la sgradita sorpresa di ritrovarsi ingrassati alla fine delle feste. E allora come sopravvivere alle feste senza tradirne lo spirito e senza aumentare di peso?

Restare in forma durante le feste senza rinunciare a qualche golosità è possibile: è sufficiente seguire qualche consiglio.
Ecco il decalogo stilato dalla dottoressa Annamaria Acquaviva, Dietista Nutrizionista per il California Prune Board e diffuso via Ansa, redatto per sopravvivere alle feste.
1. MEGLIO EVITARE I PROPOSITI DRASTICI
Il consiglio è quello di godersi i festeggiamenti anche a tavola senza fare troppi buoni propositi che non potrebbero essere mantenuti. Evitate per l’occasione propositi troppo drastici e limitatativi a fare i conti con la realtà mettendo in conto quello che mangerete effettivamente.
2. MAI ARRIVARE A TAVOLA TROPPO AFFAMATI
Mai arrivare a tavola troppo affamati: in questo modo si rischia di gettarsi in modo incontrollato sul cibo ed eccedere con le quantità. Meglio invece sorseggiare un bicchiere d’acqua appena seduti a tavola evitando di gettarsi su pane o grissini. Provate anche il pinzimonio o in alternativa un’insalata cruda con fibre e micronutrienti benefici.
3. MANGIARE LENTAMENTE
È bene imparare a masticare lentamente perché in questo modo si avrà la possibilità di poter gustare meglio i sapori del piatto, ma anche di poter raggiungere prima il senso di sazietà che generalmente arriva solo dopo aver trascorso venti minuti a masticare. Mangiare con lentezza è importante perché favorisce anche la consapevolezza e aiuta a regolare il senso di fame e sazietà andando anche a limitare l’impulso della fame nervosa.
4. BERE MOLTA ACQUA E TISANE DRENANTI
Meglio imparare a bere molta acqua: in questo modo è possibile poter smaltire la ritenzione idrica causata dalle pietanze spesso saporite delle feste. Optante anche per tisane di tipi drenante come tarassaco, pilosella e verga d’oro, ma anche depurative come carciofo e cardo mariano. Ma non utilizzate lo zucchero.
5. NON SALTARE I PASTI
Mai saltare i pasti perché in questo modo potrete evitare cali di zucchero e attacchi di fame improvvisa. Se in ipoglicemia, il nostro corpo cerca zuccheri privilegiando alimenti come cioccolata, caramelle, biscotti: si trarre di alimenti che fanno aumentare la glicemia, ma poi la fanno riabbassare velocemente con il risultato di cercare ancora altri zuccheri.
6. PASTI DELICATI DOPO QUELLI IMPORTANTI
Dopo un pasto ricco e importante, meglio scegliere un pasto leggero e ricco di vegetali. Optate per le verdure crude in grado di apportare minerali, vitamine e sostanze antiossidanti e scegliere vegetali drenanti, come sedano e finocchio, e depurativi, come carciofo, bardana e tarassaco. Meglio invece evitare i farinacei.
7. FRUTTA SECCA
È bene consumare la frutta secca, uva passa, pistacchi, prugne, noci, che è ricca di proprietà nutrizionali, ma è anche consigliabile non eccedere. Via libera alle prugne che hanno azione detossinante e favoriscono la digestione, ottime anche per la colazione.
8. CENTELLINARE I DOLCI AVANZATI
Meglio però evitare i dolci avanzati: cercate di limitare il consumo di panettone o di pandoro solo alla mattina a colazione ed evitare invece di mangiarlo dopo i pasti.
9. TISANE DIGESTIVE
Aiutatevi con tisane calde e non bollenti dopo il pasto: provate la menta piperita, l’anice stellato, la liquirizia, l’achillea, la verbena odorosa, i semi di finocchio, lo zenzero che favoriscono la digestione e sgonfiano la pancia.
10. MANTENERE UNO STILE DI VITA ATTIVO
Non trascurate la regolare attività fisica, anche se di intensità moderata: in queso modo riuscirete a mantenere sotto controllo il peso corporeo garantendo anche effetti benefici sul benessere in generale.
