Il 28 novembre è prevista una serata di beneficenza a favore dei bambini che soffrono di problemi all’udito, e più nello specifico, di ipoacusia, ossia una riduzione più o meno grave dell’udito. La serata sarà indetta dalla onlus “Sentire e Crescere”, associazione nata grazie all’iniziativa del professore Giovanni Felisati nel novembre 2011, e cresciuta con l’aiuto e la partecipazione del reparto di otorinolaringoiatria dell’Ospedale San Paolo di Milano.
Infatti solo nell’ultimo anno sono ben 400 i bambini che sono stati visitati grazie ai medici e alle apparecchiature messe a disposizione dall’associazione, e acquistate con l’aiuto dei sostenitori della onlus. Oggi ancora di più “Sentire e Crescere” ha tra i suoi progetti quello di aprire un centro specializzato per diagnosi e cura dei minori affetti da ipoacusia e organizzare campagne di sensibilizzazione e di educazione allo scopo di integrare nella società sempre di più i bimbi che hanno questo problema, e poter sostenere anche psicologicamente, non solo loro ma anche le loro famiglie.
Dunque chi vorrà, il 28 novembre, dalle 23,30 in poi, potrà partecipare alla serata di beneficenza nella discoteca LimeLight di via Castelbarco 11; l’ingresso è libero e il prezzo delle consumazioni sarà destinato a raccogliere fondi per l’associazione.
Nel 2012 l’associazione “Sentire e Crescere” riceve il riconoscimento di onlus, ossia di organizzazione senza scopo di lucro, ed è da allora sempre sostenuta dall’impegno e la professionalità dei medici del S. Paolo di Milano.
I passi compiuti fin’ora hanno permesso l’apertura di ambulatorio rivolto ai problemi uditivi dei più piccoli, con strumenti per la diagnosi di altissimo livello.
