Se da una parte, infatti, vi sarebbero coloro i quali, si dalle prime avvisaglie del maltempo tipicamente invernale, attenderebbero, trepidanti ed ansiosi, il ritorno della bella stagione, ovverosia, soprattutto, della luce e del sole tipicamente estivi, dall’altra vi sarebbero coloro i quali reagirebbero davvero male al risveglio della natura dopo i bui mesi invernali.

In particolare, stando a quanto appurato da Tonino Cantelmi primario di Psichiatria presso gli Istituti Fisioterapici Ospitalieri di Roma, e Claudio Mencacci, responsabile del Dipartimento di Neuroscienze dell’ospedale Fatebenefratelli di Milano (esperti di fama nazionale recentemente intervistati da Adnkronos Salute), a soffrire di varie forme di meteoropatia e depressione stagionale, gravissime patologie psicologiche che colpirebbero soprattutto in primavera ed in estate, sarebbe il 20% della popolazione italiana.

Molti dei soggetti affetti da codeste malattie, dunque, potrebbero cominciare a soffrire, proprio in questo periodo, di stanchezza, apatia, debolezza, insonnia e mal di testa.

Inoltre, sebbene ciò non sia ancora stato definitivamente appurato, l’aumento della luminosità e della temperatura, fenomeni tipici di questa stagione, potrebbe avere effetti quanto mai negativi sui soggetti sofferenti dei più disparati  disturbi d’ansia che potrebbero registrare un violento aumento nel numero degli attacchi di panico.

Il problema, secondo gli esperti, sarebbe da ricercarsi nei cambiamenti climatici registratisi negli ultimi anni.

Questi ultimi, provocando repentini, bruschi ed improvvisi mutamenti ambientali (registrabili, in particolar modo, a livello di temperatura, luce ed umidità), non lascerebbero il tempo all’organismo dei soggetti più deboli e sensibili di adattarsi al cambiamento e ciò causerebbe, purtroppo, gli effetti devastanti di cui sopra.
