Parliamo della cistite post coitale, un’infezione capace di manifestarsi molto facilmente nelle donne, anche in salute, nelle ore successive ad un rapporto sessuale. Viene anche definita cistite da luna di miele. Si tratta di un’infezione, come detto, alle vie urinarie, in grado di palesarsi dopo un giorno o, al massimo, tre, dal coito. Questo fenomeno coinvolge circa il 50% delle donne sessualmente attive.

Per scoprire e curare la cistite post coitale occorre, innanzitutto, conoscerla e non nascondersi dal problema. Si tratta, infatti, di una vicissitudine veramente comune nel genere femminile che, comunque, può causare degli scompensi anche fastidiosi. Quando questo fenomeno si manifesta con insistenza, ovviamente, è necessario rivolgersi ad un medico. Ciò nonostante, conoscere le cause delle cistite post coitale nei rapporti sessuali può essere un ottimo primo passo verso la prevenzione. Scopriamo, di seguito, tutto ciò che c’è da sapere al riguardo.

Cistite post coitale: da cosa proviene e come riconoscerla

Nei soggetti interessati alla manifestazione di questo spiacevole fenomeno presentano una facilità d’ingresso da parte della flora fecale nell’ambiente vaginale. Questi batteri riescono a risalire la vescia con grande immediatezza, attraverso l’uretra. Sono proprio questi elementi e la loro virulenza e decretare lo sviluppo del fastidio. Parliamo di batteri come l’Escherichia Coli che, presentando una struttura filamentosa, aderiscono facilmente alle pareti della vescica.

Ovviamente, non è soltanto la genetica a favorire la diffusione dei batteri. I genitali femminili sono molto delicati e, per questo, esporli a sostanze chimiche come spermicidi, deodoranti vaginali, lozioni e contraccettivi può mettere a rischio la flora vaginale, creando degli scompensi che possono portare alla colonizzazione batterica. Inoltre, le microlesioni causate dal movimento meccanico compiuto durante il coito agevolano i batteri nella loro “scalata” verso la vescica.

Avere delle abitudini igieniche sbagliate come pulire le zone intime partendo dall’ano, arrivando alla vagina, poi, può potare batteri dall’intestino all’ingresso dell’uretra. Infine, la secchezza vaginale innescata da una lubrificazione scarsa può portare ad un trauma meccanico e, di conseguenza, ad un’infezione. Indursi al coito con scarso desiderio sessuale o avere rapporti troppo frequenti, quindi, potrebbe agevolare la comparsa dell’infezione.

Quali sono i sintomi e come si può curare?

Generalmente, la cistite post coitale porta sintomi come un’urgenza minzionale, oltre che una sensazione di bruciore e dolore persistenti quando si espletano i bisogni. Talvolta, questa infezione può manifestarsi con la comparsa di sangue nelle urine, portando a debolezza, stanchezza e senso di affaticamento. Non solo, la cistite post coitale può indurre prurito nella zona inguinale e stati di malessere anche esterni ai momenti di minzione. Le urine sono torbide ed escono goccia a goccia e in piccole quantità.

Come detto, la cistite post coitale è un’infezione molto comune nelle donne. Ciò nonostante, non va sottovalutata, poiché questo potrebbe condurre ad un aggravamento della condizione causato dalla comparsa di febbre, vomito e dolori nella zona lombare, sintomo che l’infezione stia cominciando ad attecchire sui reni.

In ogni caso, sono diversi i modi attraverso i quali prendersene cura. La pulizia dell’area vaginale antecedente e successiva al rapporto sessuale e tra questi, così come urinare prima e dopo il coito. Bisognerà idratarsi molto ogni giorno ed evitare la caffeina ed il trattenimento dell’urina.

 

Non si dovranno usare prodotti per l’igiene personale a base chimica e, magari, si potrebbe cominciare a adottare un lubrificante a base d’acqua durante i rapporti sessuali. Un ultimo consiglio riguarda sempre la routine di pulizia che dovrà interessare prima l’ambiente vaginale e, successivamente, la zona anale, al fine di evitare contaminazioni di sorta.
